Full-archwire – This archwire extends from molar region to molar region, instead of just tooth to tooth.

Gingiva – This fibrous tissue, along with the periodontal ligament and the lining of your mouth, surrounds your teeth.

Hygiene - The practice of methods, such as brushing and flossing, used to keep your teeth, gums and mouth clean and to preserve your oral health.

Ligature – A ligature is usually made of wire or elastic material and is used to secure individual teeth to an orthodontic archwire.
